Whew, been a while since I’ve been able to post anything. Crazy semester.
Alright, so this is the finished version of my Caretaker of Stories illustration that I posted the color comps for months and months ago. I used India Ink and Marker on 3-play smooth bristol paper.
I also have three new pieces to photograph and put up so expect them soonish. I also have news for my comic works going up in just a few minutes.
The 6x4 project isn’t dead. Delayed until after the semester starts, but not dead. Here’s the current level.
The title for this one is “Things We Will Tell Our Grandchildren”
All three of these are WIPs for the 6 ft x 4 ft series that I am working on. Heavy Hitter, Fight Night, and Self Portrait of a Comic Artist in that order.

Here’s the rough sketch for another of the 6’x4’ series. It’s looking like there’s going to be five or six of these in total.

Tight Sketch for a set of pieces I will be working on. They’ll come together to make a 6 ft by 4 ft comic page.
More of the lead female from “Cold Hearts.” Next up are the front and back views of the character’s body from the hips up. After that it’ll be onto drawing her in a scene.
For anyone who remembers this guy:
I now have an update relating to him. Instead of becoming a comic, “Hench” has transitioned into being a full length feature film screen play. I finished the script about a month ago and it is now being reviewed along with probably thousands of other scripts in the Filmmaker’s International Screenplay Competition. I’ll hear about if I’ve moved past the initial screenings at the end of August.
Preview for a new comic that I’m fleshing out. Working title is “Cold Hearts” and this is concept art showing the face of the currently unnamed female protagonist.
Inspired by Dan Mumford. Had a lot of fun with this.
